Win the chance to lay the first LEGO brick on the St Edmundsbury Cathedral model!

Here’s the chance of a lifetime for one lucky young LEGO fan.

St Edmundsbury Cathedral is launching an ambitious project to recreate the building out of 200,000 LEGO bricks – and one lucky winner in our competition will have the honour of laying the first brick.

The project is being launched on Saturday 28 May and at noon the first brick will be placed on the plinth in the cathedral – and it could be you doing it!

There will also be family activities going on through launch day which kicks off at 10.30am.

Other prizes for our lucky winner will include main lunch meal and drink for up to four people in the Cathedral’s Pilgrims’ Kitchen café, and a £25 voucher for the Cathedral shop which will be stocking LEGO merchandise.

To be in with the chance of winning this once in a lifetime prize, all you have to do is complete this phrase in no more than 20 words:

Entries must be received by noon on Monday 23 May.

Terms and conditions: The winner must be available to place the first brick at approximately 12.30 pm on Saturday 28 May.

The winner must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
Lunch at Pilgrims’ Kitchen is a main meal and a drink for up to four people on launch day.

Winner must agree to feature in all publicity photos, social media and website posts for the duration of the LEGO project.

This prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or used in conjunction with any other offer.
