Chris

What is your first LEGO memory?
Building an aeroplane from bricks that were clearly designed for making buildings - it wasn't pretty.

What's your proudest LEGO build moment?
Building an immensely complex Technic aeroplane with my (at the time) young son. That was an amazing Technic kit.

If you could design a new LEGO figure, who would it be and why?
Boadicea - the Lego minifigure world is rather male character dominated so I think a successful female warrior would be pretty good, a chariot for her would be a bonus!

What is the best part of your job since being involved in this project?
Doing some rewiring work in preparation for the project all alone at the back of the Cathedral at 6.00am. It is a place of great peace and quietness and a privilege to work in, though a bit dark at that time for intricate wiring...

Describe in 3 words what this LEGO project means to you
Engagement, fun, learning

Why should visitors make this LEGO pilgrimage?
The Cathedral is an amazing place. It is less grand than many other Cathedrals but has very special light and a serenity about it. Helping to build it in Lego will be a great opportunity to get involved in the detail of the building.

On a scale of 1/10 (10 highest).... just how excited are you about the Lego launch?
9.9; I will definitely hit 10 when the first online donation is in, the first ticket bought, the first gift aid form signed and the first brick laid. Until then I will be staying calm..... arghhhhh!

Quick fire round:
Lego Architecture or figures?
Figures

Lego Technic or old skool?
Old skool

Millenium Falcon or Lego Movie Set?
Millenium Falcon. I cannot publicly comment on the rumour that I just might have been given a Lego X-wing fighter for a recent birthday.
